Introducing the citizen CLS700
CLS Identification are pround to introduce the latest range from Citizen. the CL-S700 range
Citizen Systems Europe, the leading manufacturer of label and barcode printers, launched a new range of industrial printers that enable high volumes of labels to be printed quickly, simply and cost effectively.
Capable of printing up to 10 inches per second, the new CL-S700 series has been designed with easy operation in mind from the start. All of the standard operations are accessible from the front of the printer meaning that there is no awkward access to switches or the need to move the printer to load media.
The internal rewinder version of the CL-S700 features the simplest rewinder ever designed, once again being front-loading for ease-of-access.
Front loading also has the benefit of reducing the physical space required for the printer, minimising its footprint on a crowded work surface (e.g. factory work bench) or enabling a high-volume, performance printer to fit in to tight spaces (e.g. ticket desks). Hi-Open™ metal cases provide easy access and simple media loading, while Hi-Lift™ mechanisms make ribbon loading quick and effortless using ARCP™ technology to eliminate ribbon wrinkle.

CLS Identification LTD sign partner agreement for the UK distributorship with SCIROCCO-AB
Exciting times ahead for CLS Identification Ltd and Scirocco-AB as the new partnership is agreed. CLS Identification Ltd sign partner agreement for the UK distributorship with SCIROCCO-AB to promote their INFRA RED identification system.
Working at the cutting edge of technology CLS proves that they have definite sights on the future. To enhance their existing barcoding and RFID solutions they have signed a partner agreement with Swedish manufacturer SCIROCCO-AB to promote their new INFRA RED identification system in the U.K. market place.
The Spectrum
Unlike RFID (radio frequency identification) that utilises radio waves to communicate to the tags, the Infra Red system uses light waves to communicate. Light waves are not effected by metals and can be utilised in environments that RFID may not be beneficial.
CLS Identification plan to incorporate the Infra Red technology alongside their existing Barcoding & RFID solutions to offer another enhancement to their existing comprehensive range of AIDC products.

CLS Dedicated Site for RFID
CLS have launched a web site dedicated to RFID and IRID, displaying a range of Scanner, Tags and Equipment. the URL for this is www.rfidtag.net
